Dr Muhammad Raza General Practitioner

Dr Muhammad Raza has been a medical practitioner in Australia for 16 years. Dr Raza obtained his medical degree and a Diploma in Cardiology from Pakistan, prior to arriving in Australia in 2006. Before entering general practice, Dr Raza worked at The Prince Charles and Caboolture Hospitals for about 7 years completing training and expanding his wide range of medical knowledge in general medicine and emergency. He left the hospital in 2013 pursuing a career in general practice, working towards his fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Raza joined Woodford Family Medical Centre in 2017, looking after the elderly local community. He enjoys managing complex medical conditions, chronic diseases, men’s health, and children’s health. Dr Raza is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Arabic with the patients he sees.

Dr Namrah Shafiq General Practitioner

Dr Namrah Shafiq has been working as a GP in Pakistan up until 2014 when she migrated to Australia. Dr Shafiq has been working at Greenslopes Hospital up until commencing at Woodford Family Medical Centre. Her special interests include mental health, skin procedures, women’s health, and paediatrics.

Dr Sam Hashem General Practitioner

Dr Sam Hashem has worked as a General Practitioner since 2003. He was trained as a GP with special interest in skin diseases in Iran, France and Australia, and has worked as a GP in Australia since 2012. His areas of interest include skin disease such as skin cancer screening and management, chronic disease management including diabetes and heart problems, and aged care. Dr Hashem sees patients from all age groups, however does not accept WorkCover claimants.

Dr Armaan Hadipour General Practitioner

Dr Armaan Hadipour studied medicine at Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, and graduated in 1996. Prior to migrating to Australia, Dr Hadipour was running his own solo family practice for eight years. He started working as a doctor in Australia in 2009 and did Emergency Medicine as a registrar for 13 months, and then worked as a medical registrar for four years before finally moving to General Practice in 2015. Dr Hadipour enjoys working in different fields of general practice, however he does not accept patients for chronic pain.

Dr VJ Wijayatunga General Practitioner

Dr Uditha (VJ) Wijayatunga migrated to Australia in 2008. Dr VJ has worked in several hospitals in Queensland, and has worked in general practice since 2017 in rural Queensland. His areas of interest include mental health, chronic disease management, paediatrics, and women’s health.
